Mobile travel stands for boundless freedom, the thrill of adventure and independence. This enthusiasm for flexible, nature-oriented travel is also very evident at CARAVAN SALON 2025. At the halfway point of the world's largest caravanning trade fair, exhibitors and organizers are very positive about the event and have welcomed many enthusiastic visitors to the show: "We are extremely satisfied with how things have gone so far. By Wednesday, more than 170.000 caravanning fans had already visited the show. The audience is very interested and many exhibitors report good sales. Especially in challenging times, the importance of CARAVAN SALON for the industry is impressively confirmed. Only here can you find the entire range of vehicles with new products, innovations and great new camping trends. Those who come with concrete purchase plans can still secure particularly attractive trade fair conditions until Sunday," says Stefan Koschke, Director of CARAVAN SALON.
Daniel Onggowinarso, Managing Director of the Caravaning Industry Association (CIVD), also gives a positive interim assessment: "CARAVAN SALON is the highlight of the year and the most important indicator of sentiment in our industry. Expectations among exhibitors and visitors were correspondingly high in the run-up to the show. It is therefore all the more gratifying that the trade fair has once again exceeded these expectations. Motorhome and caravan manufacturers and accessory suppliers have once again struck a chord with customers with numerous new products and attractive offers. The enthusiasm for mobile holidays is palpable in the exhibition halls, and I am convinced that many visitors will continue to discover their personal dream vehicle in the coming days."
From Friday to Sunday, 5 to 7 September 2025, the area around the exhibition grounds will be particularly busy: in addition to the CARAVAN SALON, the Ed Sheeran concert series will be taking place in the neighbouring MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA. Day visitors to the CARAVAN SALON who arrive in their own cars will therefore need to reserve a parking space online in advance for 5, 6 or 7 September. Without a valid reservation, it will not be possible to use the car parks. ‘To avoid traffic jams and long waiting times, we recommend that all visitors use public transport on these days if possible. Due to the Ed Sheeran concerts taking place at the same time, there will even be increased train services on public transport, ensuring a comfortable and quick arrival and departure,’ adds Koschke.
At the 64th CARAVAN SALON, 810 exhibitors from 41 countries will be presenting motorhomes and caravans of all sizes and price categories, as well as base vehicles, accessories, technical equipment, conversion parts, tents, mobile homes, campsites, motorhome parking spaces and travel destinations until 7 September.
